About McKay, Zorn & Associates
McKay, Zorn & Associates was formed by Ben McKay and Jack Zorn in 1982 in Greenville, South Carolina. Both partners had extensive experience in other fields as well as Architecture and Engineering. From the beginning our objective has been to provide high quality design services across the entire spectrum of building types. We have always focused on timely design delivery for buildings within the client's budget.
This business model has worked well over the ensuing twenty-five years; we have designed over a half billion dollars of constructed projects. The vast majority of our work has been for repeat clients which is personally rewarding. Recently we completed design for two 50,000 square foot shopping centers in three weeks each to meet a new client's store opening dates. This is the type of commitment which leads to repeat clients.
Our design experience includes new construction as well as renovations in commercial, institutional, industrial, and residential. The experience we bring to the table allows us to make quick informed decisions and keeps your project on track. When we start your project we evaluate your budget and design the best building that meets that budget or, if your numbers are too low, will assist you in reevaluating your program to fit your needs. We strive to make the construction process easy as possible for our clients.
